Maybe a coincidence but since updating dashboard 2 to version 1.24.1 the edit number input nodes looks wrong. Half of the text is missing. Any thoughts?
That looks like exactly the issue that 1.24.0 -> 1.24.1 has resolved. It looks OK for me.
Have you restarted Node-red since updating?
Try clearing the browser cache.

Just cleared the browser cache and restarted node red but no change I'm afraid
And does Manage Palette show you as running 1.24.1?
