Just began my journey migrating from D1 to D2. I’ve been building UI’s for the biggest part of 40 years and I have never seen a UI Layout Editor so archaic. Would you please fix this? We’ve been using drag and drop for decades now. Come on…

Try clicking on the middle icon in the page name header in the sidebar
But as mentioned contributions to improve the Dashboard will always be welcome
@jblack yes, the layout editor is in need of an overhaul. Producing a fully WYSIWIG layout editor is not a small task, and what is there now was only intended to be one small step in a much bigger journey.
The main challenge is all of the competing requirements on our time. Contributors come and go, priorities shift and all of the other many reasons why things are sometimes not as we'd wish them to be.
If anyone in the community feels up to the challenge - they would be most welcome to get involved.
