Debug node not allowing to show complete message. looks like option disabled

I just updated to Node Red 2.1.

Now the debug node in my flow is not allowing to select 'Complete msg. Object'.
i can see the option in drill down, but clicking it does not do anything
I dont understand what could be wrong.
