Exporting an STL with Node Red

Hi,

I am a PhD student active in the field of mechanical engineering and am looking at Node Red for creating a quick sw to export an stl from a set of 3D coordinates.

I am honestly at my first day of node, so any contribution (even suggesting alternatives to node) is much welcome.

The basic idea is to gather coordinated and export an stl derived from these coordinates.

Welcome to the forum @FrancescoSortino.

Before starting I suggest you watch the node-red Essentials videos that are linked from the node red docs. An hour or two spent doing that will save you time in the long run.

Having done that then you need to consider which bits you don't know how to do and come back here to ask for more specific help rather.
