Flowfuse Dashboard line chart using categorical x axis values

In the D1 chart one could have a line chart using category values for the x axis, so one could have something like

I can't work out how to do that with D2. When one selects line chart the only x axis types are timescale and linear. Categorical is missing from the list. Is there a solution to this?
