Hello everyone, I would like to know if it is possible to implement in node-RED a way to authenticate or make the serial connection safer for a Modbus rtu communication, in case a person connects another device with the same address and causes an error.

What are you trying to protect - access to Node-RED?
As I am sure you know, ModBus RTU is a serial comms and it has no concept of security so you cannot stop anyone connecting another device (unless it is physically protected)

another what kind of device? A modbus device? another node-red?
