Gauge-node is not able to be filled from center

This works perfect in the old dashboard. So why not in dashboard 2.
Again and again I stuble into problem. The above is ona example. An other one is the the legend tick in the chart node .... and so on and on.
For what is a grafical UI if I have to spend an other node (function) to make the gauge-node working.

Think I'll go back to the old dashboard!

I do not understand your complaint*.

How about you show people these Problems?

I haven't used many of the new Dashboard 2 nodes.

But I have used the gauge node and can't understand the filled from the centre.

Because nobody has yet volunteered to implement it. Perhaps you can suggest someone who can do that, or if you are a commercial organisation then you could pay someone to do it if it is important to your business.

Exactly which problem is that?

You are entirely free to do that of course. However, the reason the new dashboard development was started was because the old dashboard is based on obsolete tools that at some point will stop working, or become insecure, as other tools such as nodejs and the browsers move forward.

This is "Fill gauge from center" in the old dashboard. In this case consum power from grid or send power to grid.

You ask why I complain the legend tick: I can tick on or off > no reaktion. I have to use the ui_update to fix that.
In general .... in many cases I ned to apply a funktion node (containing the ui_update). I really do not understand why the old dashboard gives not the minimum requirement for dashboard 2.
Summary: I admit development is necessary but today dashboard 2 show too many flaws. May be I will come back .... in two years time.

If you mean this checkbox is not working

then that is a bug that (I think) has never been reported. It works ok for me. If you can please submit an issue with a sample flow showing the problem then I will look at it.

If the new dashboard had not been made available to us before absolutely every feature of D1 was included then we would have had to wait a long time for the first release.
More volunteers are needed to add the additional features and fix the outstanding bugs.

Are you a paying user of node-red or are you benefiting for free from the work of past volunteers and companies that have contributed?

The Linear Gauge has "Zero cross mode" This is closest you can get with exisiting widgets if you looking that kind of functionality. If this doesn't make your day, it takes to extend some widget or make new one. If you can't do it, wayt for it or ask somebody to make it. It may take to invest a bit to get it going...

The classic gauge node also provides this option, but looks completely different of course.
