I've been working with Node-red for a few months. Now I'd like to start using GITHub as a repository. I have set up as detailed in many tutorials, but I have an issue that when I try to get my local branch to track a remote branch (which I apparently need to do) I keep getting prompted for credentials but my GITHUB credentials don't seem to work - although I can log into GITHUB with them. so what's the dealio?

What type of credentials are you using for github (there are multiple different methods). Have you enable 2FA?
Have you enabled access via keys? That makes life much simpler.
Exactly what command are you trying to use and exactly what does it say?
