I am new to all of this and I have a very limited understanding. I have a number of devices that I turn on and off with a command line to another linux instance, which I have set up in NR. Status of the same items is determined by and MQTT message.
I am using Home Assistant to set up some dashboards. I have set up NR using the Node Red addon in Home Assistant. I tried to set up an entity for Home Assistant on the NR grid. When I went to update the properties, I got the following message, " Attention: This node requires [Node-RED custom integration ] to be installed in Home Assistant for it to function."
Is this something additional I need to do. Creating the entity in NR and restarting it did not make the entity appear in Home Assistant. Am I doing something wrong? The setup is in a Virtual Box running in Windows.
