How do I disable a helper button once a physical switch is toggled?

All my motion inputs have been converted to helper button to have a single press output rather than an on or a off out put.

I use these button and their presses to set various lights "on" and "off" in our office.

Problem statement: once a while home assistant crashes or something fails, in this case I want my team members to know that there is a switch on the wall (manual override), which when flicked, all the automation/motion buttons in the flows are disabled.

Once disabled they can use the other swicthes normally and when I return I can troubleshoot and flick the same manual override switch again to reinitiate the automations.

Are they node red dashboard nodes? If so then you can disable them by sending them the appropriate message.
