When I currently import flows on a new NodeRed installation, the required nodes are missing. Is there a way to make NodeRed suggest/ask to install specific nodes when importing a flow?
No there isn't. And it would be quite dangerous to have as a default at least.
Best thing to do is to script the sharing so that you can include a task to deploy the required node modules and then import the flow.
