From what I can see I don't think it's currently possible to export a custom dashboard theme and then re-import this theme into a different node-red instance. Is this correct? If not, how do I do this?
If this is not currently a feature will it possibly be added in the future?

If you talk standard theme (colors), then there indeed is an option to save and with this exchange themes.
Just go to Dashboard settings and check Userdefined Profiles ... in there are all tools you would need.
