This post is a friendly reminder that InfluxDB 1.8.7-1.8.9 release has start issue.
We recently updated a few devices running Node-RED and InfluxDB and there are data review error. It turned out that InfluxDB did not start after the update thus are never saved.
It is recommended not to update InfluxDB until it is stable.
If you updated already, then there is an easy fix:

That explains why it has stopped running on my staging server. I was just about to investigate it. I won't update my production server till it is fixed. Thanks.
