The main problem was a "}" sign placed to a wrong position. It exluded the entire timer function from the main one.
Currently I'm still using lot's of console.log() functions.
I'm still trying to figure out, how to remote debug with VS2017 (Win7) to a RPi (debian) running NR.
But That's an other topic...
