Node-red editor won't load

Just today I am trying to load the editor.

It hangs here:

I've stopped and started NR.

Even tried -- safe mode.
Same.

If I start NR, the GUI side works. (Just tested it now)
But the editor just won't load.

ALWAYS at 145.

What's the next step?

Further digging:

I am seeing this:

13 Mar 08:09:46 - [warn] Projects disabled : set editorTheme.projects.enabled=true to enable
13 Mar 08:09:46 - [info] Flows file : /home/me/.node-red/flows_me-desktop.json
(node:20681) Warning: Accessing non-existent property 'padLevels' of module exports inside circular dependency
(Use `node --trace-warnings ...` to show where the warning was created)
13 Mar 08:09:46 - [info] Server now running at http://127.0.0.1:1880/

Trying node --trace-warnings doesn't seem to work. Or I am missing something.

me@me-desktop:~/.node-red$ node --trace-warnings

The 3 . at the end.... They aren't really needed?

Everything was working last night and all that has happened since is shut down and reboot.

Looking there were some other nodes updated also.

The one highlighted is the newest one I installed to help someone and it was working fine.

Ok, sorry.

me@me-desktop:~/.node-red$ node --trace-warnings ...

me@me-desktop:~/.node-red$

But I still am stuck on what to do.

Change the log level to trace in settings.js, then restart.

Changed.

Restarted.

Sorry, but now when I look for the log.....

/var/log/
gives:

me@me-desktop:/var/log$ date
Mon 13 Mar 2023 09:15:11 AEDT
me@me-desktop:/var/log$ ll nodered-install.log*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Dec 30 07:50 nodered-install.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1213 Dec 29 17:01 nodered-install.log.1
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 5353 Oct 25 08:20 nodered-install.log.2.gz

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 688 Dec 5 2021 nodered-install.log.4.gz
me@me-desktop:/var/log$

The log is output when you run node-red-start.

Ah.

Sorry. Yeah that was rather extensive when I started it. WOW!

Post?

(Hmmmm..... That's not going to be easy.)
LONG scrolling and my mouse seems to keep releasing the text.
So it is difficult to copy/paste it from the screen.

I'll do some local digging here.

Thanks.

Ok, preliminary things:

me@me-desktop:~/.node-red$

So I am not sure if I am chasing a rabbit with the latter part or not.
And: is it in the log it created. (rhetorical)

But that 's where I am at now.

Look towards the end which should be where it is hanging.

(Hi Colin.)

Guess what.

Being it's typical self: Now I have started digging: Node-red is playing the game.

ARGH!
