Node-red-node-email hangs in latest version

I'm now running version 1.15.1 and the problem is still there.

I have a debug node linked to the output of node-red-node-email (that checks on incoming mail), the debug node had a correct output yesterday evening. But this morning, when a new mail arrived, the node hangs with no output at all.

I'm referring to the closed topics, all details and screenshots are still relevant:

Hello all I found that this problem occurs when there was no network/internet connection for a certain amount of time. I made a flow that notifies me after a network outage and i see problems with the node-red-node-email at the same time, not everytime. I think it occurs when the network outage disturbes the fetching of the emails, the node hangs in fetching until it is restarted. Regards

Node-red-node-email stops working

Little topic bump.... Still have the problem, chances are small that an external error causes the problem. Anyone else seeing this and/or have a possible sollution or workaround?
