When one of the nodes within the palette (photo above) requests to be updated, nodered no longer works.How could this be fixed? is there any command to automate the 'update?
Your photo doesn't show any node requesting to be updated.
What version of NR and node.js are you running? (you can find this in teh NR startup log
When you say node-red no longer works what do you mean?

my photo does not show any update requests because i just did the update of noderedtelgrambot , but it happened several times with other nodes.

- nodered crashes and does not execute any commands, e.g. if I ask alexa to read a temperature from a sensor this is not read
Can you (in a terminal window) stop and start NR then try to cause the problem.
Once you do, copy and paste the log from when you start NR till it crashes.
to reproduce the 'error I wouldn't know how to do, I should wait for one of the nodes to have an update .Anyway at the next NR block I check and save all the log. Tnx zeno.
