Onboarding Node-RED into Auto Manufacturing domain

Planning for the OT/IT integrations. Collaboration team support is needed for further discussion.

Hi @Gopal

Thanks for joining the community.
I have moved this post to Jobs - on the basis it seems like a quest to hire a consultant?

Hello Gopal,

I am responding to your Node-RED Forum topic “Onboarding Node-RED into Auto Manufacturing domain”, published on 9 October 2026:

Your post mentions planned OT/IT integrations and support for further discussion. Could you clarify whether you are seeking a paid external consultant or implementation partner, and whether the work can be performed remotely? Please also identify the contracting company and country, the intended start date, and the available budget or budget range.

Which systems are involved on the OT and IT sides—for example PLC, SCADA, MQTT or OPC UA on one side and MES, ERP, database or API on the other? What is the first concrete data flow that must be demonstrated, and what result would make that first milestone accepted? Is there already a Node-RED instance and a representative non-production environment? Please also describe the required data direction, expected volume and latency, and the network and security boundary that the solution must respect.

Blitzweb.net develops backend integrations, server-side workflows and web applications. We do not have a Node-RED, automotive or production-plant client reference and would not present unrelated work as one. If general backend and integration experience is acceptable, we can first review a redacted architecture diagram and synthetic sample messages. We could then propose a small paid feasibility milestone with fixed deliverables and price. No credentials or production data are needed for the initial review.

We are looking for an organisation collaboration rather than technical support at this moment. Like Node-RED home page has "### Who's using Node-RED"

Just wanted to understand the process onboarding new logo, incase if we going to use this tool.

@Gopal

I was asked to relay this on to you:

If what your team actually needs is an organisation to engage with for the OT/IT work (a contract, enterprise support, SLAs, someone accountable on the vendor side), that is the gap FlowFuse exists to fill. We build the commercial platform around Node-RED, the project’s creator and several core maintainers work here, and we work with manufacturers on exactly this kind of plant-to-enterprise integration. Happy to take that conversation off the forum if useful. Send me a DM or reach us via flowfuse.com.
