I think I'm on a loser here but is there any way to rotate the X axis labels of a ui Bar Chart? I tried adding a style to the data but it just added it as text.

No you can't. There is auto rotation for condense labels. That can be adjusted how much they rotate but rotation is applied only if necessary.
