This is not really a question about Node-Red but more about hardware.
Having to integrate an RS485 Modbus TCP/IP to send sensors data, before dealing with the node I would like to ask advice about which interface board has been proved to work with the node-red-contribution-modbus.
It would be good to start this project with something known.

That will depend on what computer hardware you are running on.
First you mention rs485 then you mention modbus TCP. What is the overall architecture?
I am using a Raspberry Pi 4. And sorry for the confusion about RS485 and Modbus TCP/IP. I need to install both Modbus RTU RS485 and Modbus TCP/IP .
