Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on a project involving PLCs ( i'm not an expert with them) and my question is is there any way to monitor if the PLC is in run or stop mode via nodred?

Im using the s7 node a siemes PLC

Hi,

if you don't know the system area of ​​the plc, a very simple method is to create a polling, set a bit (merker) with the plc and reset it with NodeRed, or in the plc you create an incremental counter and with NodeRed you control it.

Hello,

Only way to do that its reading a DB, that Db should have status of the plc or the clock flag.

Ping to the IP doesnt work only if the plc in off(no power)
