Sharing a project designed for an HMI/Kiosk application using Dashboard 2.0 with an autolocking screen lock, to gauge interest and see if others have needed something similar. Will consider opening a PR and merging if there's demand.
This isn't meant to fully replace authentication, but is more than adequate for non-internet-exposed kiosks and HMIs. Features include configurable PIN code access and auto-lock timeout settings, all adjustable within the dashboard config.
This is excellent!
@cgjgh Nice!
Is it responsive?
A lot of us access our dashboards on different devices, with different screen sizes. How does the same demo look, for example, on a phone or tablet.
Good idea, however I think entered numbers should not be shown. Use an asterisk symbol (*
) instead.
@Paul-Reed Yes, it's fully responsive.
Really cool.
When is the MFA version comming out? Dashboard admins could register their device on the editor, and then register their secret in their phones or any other mfa device.
And what about the Passkey one?
I recommend my esp32-mfa-authenticator for the nerds.
that thing is awesome
