Server blocked deploy not possible

Start node red in safe mode, search for server, remove it, deploy.

how do you start node-red in safe mode?

if you are not sure how to start in safe mode - as @Steve-Mcl suggested, the command is node-red --safe

Can you expand on that a bit. Did you import a flow or add or delete a node?

I imported a count node to make an hour counter then at some point the sever stopped.
