I want to trigger the browser camera from the Dashboard using a button.
I can trigger the camera from the node-red flow and show the image in the dashboard but the camera node from browser-utils package do not have an input option. I want to start the process of taking the picture directly from the dashboard.

That node is not a UI node, so don't think you can use it to take pictures when being inside the dashboard. My best guess is that you should do it like in this tutorial (see section " Taking a Still Photo"). And that should be added to a Template-node, if you know how to do that.
If you need help, please let me know. Because I need something similar myself ...
