Use Revpi on window

I am new with node-red.
My project involve a sensor connect with RevPi.
My objective is to read sensor data from node-red.

  1. I have install node-red
  2. From those video, I have to install this "node-red-contrib-revpi-nodes"
    Video:
    a. Revolution Pi and Node-RED Tutorial, Part 1, Youtube
    b. Revolution Pi and Node-RED RevPi Nodes Tutorial, Part 2, Youtube
"Revolution Pi und Node-RED RevPi Nodes Tutorial, Teil 2 - YouTube"

on cmd, I type npm install node-red-contrib-revpi-nodes

Then , on my node-red local, I also had install at "Manage Palette" > Install > node-red-contrib-revpi-nodes

Revolution nodes, successfully install.
When I drag pin core and I want to put the value of the Pin, there none.

I assume, I wrongly do because the video is using raspberry pi and i am using window 10?
Or is it because i did not connect my revpi to laptop?

Where have you installed node-red? You should have installed it on the Revpi, not on windows.

Ouh, thank you for the info.
Do you have any webpage or video on how to configure flow revpi with node-red ?
I cannot found any video on how to configure.
I found a web page: How to create a Node Red application - Industrial Raspberry Pi
but I still cannot understand the flow.

Hope you could help me.

I don't know, but if it runs a debian based os (which I think it does) then I would start by trying the Pi script Running on Raspberry Pi : Node-RED

I assume you are a beginner with node red so I recommend watching this playlist: Node-RED Essentials. The videos are done by the developers of node-red. They're nice & short and to the point. You will understand a whole lot in about 1 hour. A small investment for a lot of gain.

Thank you, I just learn that Revpi already include rasberry pi in it. It already have node red inside.
thank you for a very helpful video.

Probably an old version of node-red though.
