Welcome to the Node-RED community forum. This is the main place to discuss the project, ask questions, share ideas and anything else Node-RED related. Everyone is welcome here, we just ask you to follow a few simple rules:
- Be nice - this is an open forum with members from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures. We can all get frustrated when things aren’t working, but posting with a positive attitude will always attract better responses.
- Be tolerant - it can often be hard to know what question to ask. There’s no such thing as the wrong question - it just sometimes takes a bit of help to find the right question.
- Be patient - you may not get a response straight-away. The person who can answer your question could be asleep on the other side of the world.
- Be helpful - this forum is a searchable resource. Putting a bit more effort into an answer will not only help answer the immediate question, but also help users in the future.
You need to have an account to post a new topic to the forum. You can either create a local account or login using your Github account.
You should search the forums to see if your question is already answered. As we’re only just starting the archives are somewhat empty - but you should still have a look.
To create a new topic, click the
New Topic button at the top of the page. The forum is made up of a number of categories. When you create a new topic, try to pick the most suitable category.
When asking a question, try to provide as much information as you can.
Code of Conduct
All the posts in the Node-RED forum are subject to the project’s code of conduct. We reserve the right to remove anyone from the community who doesn’t meet the standards we expect.
