Where can you find details on Dashboard Item Properties and how to use them?

Where is a comprehensive list of all/any of the, lets say for now, "Button" properties. I'd like to be able to find these for programming the Dashboard and controlling the user experience programmatically.

I'm looking for "Button" properties which to control "Hide", or "Show" the entities. I don't suppose you disable and change all the colors to the white background?
