ZOOM buttons. "How" do they zoom

Before anyone says "But the nodes weren't deployed!"
See the third and fourth pictures.
Same, but not quite as bad.

I am guessing they are part of NR, as on this tab/browser they aren't visible.

I am looking at part of my flow. The view isn't "big" enough. so I zoom out.
See pic 1 for initial view.

But it seems to zoom out from a non-disclosed point. The part of the flow I was viewing isn't centred any more.

See pic 2

(Post picture taking note:
I goofed with the first couple of pictures/screen grabs, so I went back and did it again.
This time it is a doozy what happens.
I have NOT changed what is being shown. But this time it has really lost the plot.)
(Oh, and also weirdly: if I zoom back in, the original part of the flow re-appears.)

Perhaps this piece of information may be useful. The newer version of Node-RED has a navigation button that makes it easy to visualize flows that are larger than the screen-size.

I guess I shall have to upgrade that machine's NR. It is still v18.

Thanks.

Hi,

I'm struggling to pick out what you're reporting here. Would the short version be:

"When I zoom out, it does not keep the view centred as I would expect it to"

If that's the case, my guess is it isn't properly taking into account if you've scrolled at all. Another bug for us to address.

Nick,

It is both when zooming in and out.

Your version of the description is a lot better than what I said.

OK. It isn't something I am not/doing causing it to happen.

Thanks.
