Hello,
I bought a Xiaomi Starterset including a gateway I want to connect to node red. The link attached to the node description refers to an older version of the MI-Home-APP and I can´t find the menu for API in the downloadable Version 5.5.2 (IOS) of the APP.
Is there any updated description to solve that issue?

It's probably best to try to contact the author of that node directly as it's not a core one many people will be using.... whichever one it is.
