Not the most exciting thing we have seen, but for me, I needed a little better & simpler way to provide me with some informative stuff from my home automation system

Instead of starring at the full size browser on my computer or updating some view on my phone, I configured an ESP32 based touch display unit (Waveshare ESP32-S3-Touch-LCD-4B) using ESPHome. Easy to update from Node-RED via MQTT. Just send what you are interested in to know. Gives me the info "at a glance"

I'm aware the device can do so very much more, I'm just using a fraction for now. Cool device anyway, not the cheapest but it works well

Fun. I have an M5stack Basic which was doing something similar. Haven't been running it recently since I now run a 4 monitor setup on my desk and 1 of the upper monitors shows my home (UIBUILDER of course) dashboard.

The small displays are great though. I do have a couple more but can never really work out what to do with them. :smiley:

What I really want is a new e-photo frame to replace the broken one on the landing.
