when i clic on the arrow to wrap or unwind the group here :
is there a node that allows me to read the group status (collapsed or not) in an msg.payload or other ?

I don't think so no.
Do you think it would be interested in adding this function? I was thinking of killing a streaming video or killer something else that does not need to run in the background if the group is rolled up.
yes - I can see it could be useful... could be added to the ui_control node.
(happy to consider a PR if anyone has any time this week)
