Cannot drag/drop nodes from palette

Hi All,

It's been a few weeks since messing around with N-R and I've hit a major problem. Whenever I try and d&d any node from the palette, it jumps up to the upper LH corner and gets "stuck" on top of the "Node-Red" logo. Next node I try to d&d replaces previous node in that spot. Nothing goes onto the flow sheet.

Any logical explanation for this anomaly?

Can you open the javascript console of your browser and check for any errors?

I would if I knew how to. :face_with_raised_eyebrow: I did go to my Pi and check it directly using the Pi's Chrome browser, N-R works fine there. I am (and have been) using a Win7x64 laptop with FF v82.02 to do my tinkering as it hurts my back to sit at the desk where the Pi is located.

I had previously added a userchrome.css file to my Win FF to make some appearance changes. Undid that and N-R is still misbehaving. The only other change I can think of is FF had auto-updated from 81.0 sometime in the past few days...

OK, out of frustration I deleted my entire flow all the way back to what the base startup looks like. My project was for cr@p anyways. Did a full deploy on the empty shell, closed browser, reloaded N-R and it is still doing the same thing. I tried my old favorite FF v56.0, same thing. Apparently, something on this particular computer has changed. The only thing I've manually updated was Flash to 32.0...

These console errors are from the "clean sheet" N-R with zero flows or nodes deployed. Are they indicating problems with N-R or conflicts with some other program or ? ? ?

Have you cleared the browser cache?

and do you have any browser plugins installed ? maybe try with them disabled...

FWIW, it was the add-on "No Scroll" causing the problem. Disabling fixed it.
