I am trying to use Node Red resident in the OPTO Epic PR1 controller to send and receive data (DINT) from/to an Allen Bradley L30ER V32.04. I am a beginner on Node red.

A good starting point for Node-RED is to watch the Node-RED Essentials videos. Well worth the time!
After watching these, you might want to also try the Opto22 Forum. There are several Members that are very knowledgeable on interfacing and communicating with various controllers including AB on their Forum.
