Creating a neopixel beacon in Node-RED

Hello

I'm building a security device using a Raspberry Pi Zero, which has numerous sensors but also features a 16 LED NeoPixel ring as part of an alarm beacon element.

I'm hoping to create a NeoPixel effect like this:-

I have used the node-red-node-pi-neopixel node, but it simply doesn't do the job for custom sequences and complex patterns.

I'm no code writer, so wondered if anyone could advise of a very simple way to achieve this please using NodeRED?
