Creating a node from a subflow

Hello.
I would like to create a node from a subflow.
I have seen that there are manual instructions to do this ( https://nodered.org/docs/creating-nodes/subflow-modules), but honestly I don't do things right.
I have also read, that package generation with tools and/or the Node-RED editor is considered as part of the core of the Node-RED project.
For that reasons :

  • Do you know of any more complete documentation to try to create a node?
  • Is there a more automatic method that works?
