looking for any ideas, I have node-red in an work environment. If a worker does not show up for work or takes vacation i would like to alter that event to not turn on while worker is off.

Is this a Home Assistant question rather than node-red?
i have an automation that turns on 12 machines 30 min. before employee shows up. Warm up so when they get there no wasted time. user can just run as soon as they get there. if user calls out that day that machine does not run. looking for a way like a calendar or a way to turn off 1 to X days with out reprograming each time user call out. looking to do something in dashboard.
You could use node-red-contrib-cron-plus, feeding it a dynamic schedule.
