I'm appreciate very much your help and patience.
But I start to get mixed up with the different replays requested.

To import your flow etc.
first I opened the Node-RED editor, added another, empty Flow, choose import from the menu bar top right and copied your flow into the then opening window.
second I closed the window withe "done" button and deployed it.
third I checked the dasboard and sent you a screenshot of it.

I hope this was right.

To import flow:

  1. Ctrl + I
  2. Paste the flow
  3. Click on Import
  4. Modify/adapt as needed
  5. Deploy

General use: Whenever you are finished editing and want to test, click deploy to "apply your changes"

I recommend watching this playlist: Node-RED Essentials. The videos are done by the developers of node-red. They're nice & short and to the point. You will understand a whole lot more in about 1 hour. A small investment for a lot of gain.

I finally found the solution: I need to create the dashboard on the
editors page, not on the dashboard site. I was missing this fact
in my tutorial because it wasn't explicitly mentioned. Thank you all.

It's not possible to do it like that - why did you believe that?

well it worked that way: On editor Window klick on the small arrow top right, on pulldown menue
klick dashborda and then start from there. Wiew result on thw dashboard page. ???

You can indeed create dashboard tabs and their groups from the dashboard sidebar.

I always pull a dashboard widget into the editor and create a tab and groups from it's config popup, either way works.
