Error detecting Watson IoT


I am attempting to connect a device which I have linked to IBM Watson IoT to Cloudant through Node Red. The issue I am having is that although Watson IoT shows that the device is connected, Node Red does not.. I know that I have entered all of the required details correctly because I did manage to get the connected symbol to appear on Node Red for about 20 minutes earlier, but once I unplugged it and tried to set it back up again a few hours later I could no longer get the connected message to show even though the IBM Watson system still detects that is connected no problem. Has anyone encountered a similar issue to this?
