I was hoping that someone could make a palet for nodered of the rtl-sdr dongle for 433mhz etc

Not this is really a thread for the #development channel, but never mind.
there is an rtl_power node on flows.nodered.org. At one point I did look at the whole rtl suite and rtl_433 - but there are so many options (and the fact you have to compile/install the drivers outside of Node-RED makes it a pain to work out how to actually wrap up in a meaningful way. When I use it I just use either the exec node or node-red-node-daemon (for longer running) and make sure I use the -F json output flag to make it easy to parse the output.
Or is there a basic use case that would make sense to wrap ?

I really liked the node-red-contrib-rfxcom and was hoping to get this for the RTL 433 dongle. If you think it isnt really something for nodered is follow-up your lead
