would be nice if you could define a SNMP Host, only ones (IP and Hostname ro value) so you don't have to add the ip address on many differen requests.

You can also report this feature request as an issue on the node’s github repository.
Hi - not sure quite what you mean... You can either set it in the node - or if you leave it blank then you pass it in as msg.host. You can also specify it as an environment variable from outside Node-RED if you wish, using ${my_env_variable} syntax. What other other option are you looking for ?
