Yeah it moved some time back. Not sure if it is something that can be reordered. @dceejay any chance when you get a minute spare you could have a look through forum settings? See if we cannot bring the code button back into default view?

Seems like it is a discourse level thing Missing Code Tags Icon - #10 by dax1 - Website and Forum - Arduino Forum
It seems to say they reverted it, not sure why ours isn’t

It is still there for me, or has it been sorted already?

Back for me now too!

I still can't see. Looking at past experience in this forum, I would say this icon is more important than the Bold / Italics Icon. New users find it difficult how to paste the code and this would add a little more to that struggle.

It is missing on my mobile as well.

I'm also using Windows/Google Chrome.
What version of discourse are you loading?

To check, right click anywhere in the forum, and select page source. Somewhere near the top you will see something like this -
<meta name="generator" content="Discourse 3.4.0.beta2-dev...

Are you also seeing v3.4.0.beta2-dev ?

I used to see this issue (in Firefox) on one Windows PC but not another.
Don't know what it does depend on but it's not simply which browser I'm using.

Writing this on Edge (Yuk) and do I see that button.
It's there in Chrome and Mullvad too
