Le Potato with Node-Red?

Anyone try this board and attempt to read/control GPIO pins?
It's the $35 board currently abundantly available.

It runs NR fine, but so far, I can't get it to do anything with the pins other than exec commands to read/set by the Libre Computing Wiring Tool (but not assign pullup/pulldown, so they drift/float in state).

I was hoping to get an overlay applied to the Raspberry pi nodes work with this board. Anyone figure that out yet?
