hi,
Node-red is working well on my Windows 10 64system
the flow e.g. is a good one.
but
localhost:1880/ui gives no reply
The adres change
localhost:1880/ui --> localhost:1880/ui/#flow/nr2687dd1d. or something else.
http://127.0.0.1:1880/ui/#!/0?socketid=AJHUYPZUR2lwCzWxAAAC
Also my own adres 192.168.1.102:1880/ui gives no result
Who will an can help me?
Dick
Have you added the dashboard node & restarted node-RED?
thanks Paul, but many restarts and other flows
The result is 0,0
Dick
Can you stop NR, restart it, and copy/paste the log here. The log may give us a clue what is happening
i will try, but where do i find this log?
Dick
When you start node red from the command line the log will be shown on screen.
thanks
i get an image from the screen
Dick
i have unmount and then remount the dashboard module
no result
Dick
Can you export your flow and attach it to a reply?
Thanks for the help you give to me.
mj flow
that possible
I use this flow,
I know this one is working all right untill ....?
localhost1880:/ui --> now answer
and now it is over
Other "good" flows give the same result
Dick

Paul
do you have information after the upload?
Dick
zenofmud,
do you have information after the upload?
Dick
Sorry been doing a remote session with my grandsons.
Currently your flow is not importable. [EDIT: I fixed the flow but please read this thread ]
What happens if you do the following?
Zenofmud
Thanks for this information
Sorry about the inconvenience with appending the flow
I will try ,if that is possible, your advice about that
Solution with clicking the dashboard icon en the other icon, gives the dashboard.
For now my question has a solution.
THANKS
Dick
When you have done that and see the dashboard, what URL does it show in the browser?
Thanks Colin
dasboard icon and the following gives as result:
http://127.0.0.1:1880/ui/#!/0?socketid=ACCP7AmWm49Cdz1MAAAB
Dick
What do you see if you manually enter
http://127.0.0.1:1880/ui
or
http://localhost:1880/ui

with localhost i get but not a dashboard only that adress
http://localhost:1880/ui/#!/0?socketid=3TkFUvMAVihvNe_-AAAB

It’s starting to sound if there’s something on your system, whether in the hosts file or by an application that is rewriting the meaning of “localhost” on your system. I deliberately stopped gaining more windows knowledge a number of years ago, so my knowledge is outdated and you’re better off getting help from others here, but that’s an option I would suggest figuring out.
As @afelix suggests it looks as if there is something wrong with your Windows network setup. localhost and 127.0.0.1 should mean exactly the same thing, but you will need someone who knows about Windows to help further.
