Looking for suggestion on a good "TOGGLE" icon

I have a slight problem that I need an icon for a button that is a toggle rather than a specific ON or OFF indication.

I have for now the toggle switch icon, but it is misleading on the state of things.
Probably a simple push button would actually suffice. But I was wondering about the icon.

I'm not sure which icon that is. My gate and and q-gate nodes use one of the Font Awesome icons, fa-arrows-v. It's a bit crude but might serve.

The toggle icon. I meant the supplied button which is called switch.
(My bad.)

The fa-exchange is sort of looking better for toggle.

The fa-arrows-v is more looking like (text/graphics attempt) |||> unless it has since been updated.
