Modbus "Initialized"

I am running Node-Red on two different machine, both with the same version of Node-Red and Node.js, yet one will connect using Modbus Read fine and the other will not. I have downgraded the Modbus Node package to the version of the working setup, but I just get this "Initialized" as a response. Any help as to why this may be?

I am using a USB to RJ45 network adapter for this connection, but the configuration of that is using the same parameters as well.

I also have a PING node setup and that responds with a "1" for connectivity.

Hi jfehl, I have the same problem, I think the node doesn't work anymore without a small contribution
