🎉 Node-RED 4.0.5 / 3.1.14 released

Hi,

New releases of both Node-RED 3.x and 4.x are available - second day in a row.

4.0.5 includes a fix for using Link Call nodes inside a subflow when they call out of the subflow. We thought this was fixed in 4.0.4, we were wrong.

3.1.14 picks up another dependency update for an upstream security issue that had already made it into 4.x.

Is this a bug (actually found same behaviour with previous release before i upgraded):

  1. When filtering nodes, initial first time search works, then use delete/backspace to filter for another node, then the palette does not reset to the full list and eventually it remains empty.
  2. Upon (re)loading node-red, the deploy button always becomes activated, if I deploy and refresh, activated again.

I do have console errors regarding the clipboard and i think the both are related to this, because they fire this event every time

For webkit + clipboard there is a security requirement to be https, i am using http. I see in the function that it tries to workaround this requirement ?

Same problem for me, MacOS 15.1.1, Safari 18.1.1, Nodered 4.0.3 under Home Assistant 2024.11
All works fine under MacOS Firefox
I think the problem occurred since MacOS 15
