Node red v 21.0.3. add in Home Assistent

After a longer period a looked into node red again. A picked two nodes and wanted couple them. This is from a output I wanted make a line to de debug node. I was not by able to made the connection. After scale up and down, delete and reinstall. It all didn’t matter. The connection could not be made.

Anyone who recognize this problem or could explain?

Welcome to the forums @EddyCapture

My apologies - but I cant quite decipher from the information given, the problem.

it is important to note: we are not Home Assistant, and if this is related a HA issue specifically , you're better off seeking support from that forum who knows the system.

if this is a Node RED specific question, please provide more info

HA has a plugin, that can bring in Node RED, but they are totally different systems.

Also please try it on a PC with a mouse, to see whether it is an iPad issue.

They are not. Home assistant runs on docker. Addons, like nodered, are docker containers preconfigured to work with ha. There are no changes made to NR.

As in HA & Node RED are different systems.

Point taken. On that note to the @EddyCapture how are you accessing NR? Use your browser with the same IP for ha but use port 1880 instead of 8123. Don't go through any apps. If you are prompted to log in use your HA user and password.

Unless they have changed it recently this is not true.
Within the docker container (they do not use the standard Node Red one) - they add a heap of nodes and enable webhooks for integration back to HA

Hence why they quote weird point system releases and the like - it is never completely in step with 'Vanilla" node red
