Yes, I did reply, but only because I looked.
But didn't receive a notification.
I've also noticed some significant oddities with Discourse recently. I sometimes get unread counts on topics I've not been into, I don't always get notifications for threads I have been into and participated in.
I wasn't sure whether it was my browser though as I'm using Microsoft Edge Dev (chromium based) and I've seen some update issues on other sites such as Twitter and YouTube.
