I'm having problems installing/upgrading Node-RED on an older PiZero (Stretch so not ancient)

(Its in the endless loop of saying that its not fully installed and do I want to re-install)

I've tried loads of things and I'm now at the stage where I'd like to delete all Node-RED files, remove npm and remove node.js and start again

sudo rm what?

Why not just flash the SD card?

Just copying all the files from /home/pi in case I ever need them :slight_smile:

If in doubt zip it all up into a single archive then copy.
