Hi folks,
I read today about a very recent hackaton to create (on very short term) a medical respirator machine, since hospitals won't have enough of those devices to help all the corona patients. Their target is to have a device that is easy to construct, both for hospitals and individuals.
They have already 1200 volunteers (medical, software, hardware, 3D printing, ...) and an international manufacturer company. But they are still looking for extra help:

So if anybody still needs to earn his place in heaven, that project might be a good place to start ...
Just posting it here, because I know there is a LOT of hardware/sensor/software knowledge available in this community. But unfortunately you would also need to have a lot of spare time, which is not the case for the most of us ...
